Zhongshan County Gonggan is an excellent variety introduced by our county from Guangdong in 1998. It originates from Sihui, Guangdong and has a long history of cultivation. It was listed as a tribute to the imperial court during the Ming and Qing dynasties and belongs to the category of mixed citrus. Its unique flavor makes it an excellent citrus variety. Its fruit is oval in shape, with smooth and golden skin, very beautiful. The fruit shape index is 0.89, with a single weight of 103-123 grams and an edible rate of 82.8%. Each 100 milliliters of juice contains 8.6 grams of total sugar and 0.3 grams of fruit acid. The flesh is plump, transparent, crisp, juicy, and has a fragrant osmanthus aroma. It leaves a lingering fragrance on the teeth and cheeks after consumption, and is of high quality and durable for storage and transportation.
